TrueGlo Gut Health Line

One base. Four bags. The gut health line for show pigs, show cattle, show lambs and show goats.

If they don’t eat, you can’t compete

He comes home, and everything changes at once. A trailer ride. A new pen, new water, new pen mates. And in that same stretch, he gets his shots.

Some of them sail through it. Some eat light for two weeks and never look quite right. Some quit.

Most families get handed a list of things to try. Switch feeds. Add a topper. Buy the bottle the guy at the sale swore by. Nobody ever tells you why any of it should work.

That is not a failure on your part. Nobody gave you the reason. TrueGlo starts with the reason.

What is in every bag

All four TrueGlo bags are built on the same base. What you are choosing between is only what gets added on top.

  • PreVent Refined Functional Carbohydrates (PRFC), covered by US Patent 11,844,810. It works on the animal, not on the bugs, so he has more to answer with when the haul, the new barn and his shots all land in the same few weeks.
  • Probiotics, the live bugs. Prebiotics, what feeds them. Postbiotics, what they produce once they are working.

Animals on it stay on feed, respond better to the vaccines you are already giving, and recover faster from stress.

CR and Turbo are not steps on a ladder. CR is about where the feed goes once he has eaten it. Turbo is about carrying a pig through heat and putting hair on him. Pick the one that matches the problem you actually have.

A scoop, not a pound

TrueGlo started in Doc’s kitchen, for his own kids’ show lambs, because what he was feeding them took up too much room in a two pound ration. A small scoop of TrueGlo is about nine grams. It is small on purpose, so it does its job without crowding out the feed you paid for.

Every bag comes with its scoop, and one level scoop per feeding is the dose. Nothing to weigh, nothing to convert. The product page for each bag has the scoop size for his species.

TrueGlo and CR run about seventy five cents a head per day on a pig, lamb or goat. Turbo and Turbo Shag cost more to run, because they are doing more than one job.

When to start

The day he steps off the trailer. His first three weeks home are when he is asked to answer the most at once, and PreVent is in every scoop of every bag. If he came home last week, you are already inside that window.

Turbo Shag is the one exception. It goes on sixty days before his show, not the day he comes home.

Two honest notes

If he is already on one TrueGlo, you do not need a second. They all carry the same PreVent base.

And none of this is medicine. Keep up his vaccinations and your health program. If something is actually wrong with him, that needs a diagnosis and it needs your veterinarian. Use TrueGlo alongside what your vet tells you, not instead of it.
