Description

The problem

You just bought the pig. That was the easy part.

He is standing in your barn and now there is a wall of product in front of you, every bit of it promising something, and no obvious place to start.

Do you deworm first or feed first? Does he need joints already, or is that later? What do you do about his skin before there is anything wrong with it?

Most people solve this by buying one thing, waiting to see what goes wrong, and then buying the next thing after it does. That works, in the sense that you eventually get there. It is just the expensive way and the late way.

What is in it

Four bags, and each one is here for a reason

Clean Sweep. He did not come home alone. A pig can look completely healthy and carry a full load of parasites, and the ground he walks out onto has its own. Fenbendazole in a medicated meal, the same active ingredient as Safe-Guard, and it goes first.

TrueGlo Turbo. New pen, new water, new feed, new everything. That is exactly the stretch where a pig goes off feed, and a pig that is not eating is not growing. Turbo holds the gut together and takes the heat load off him, and it puts skin and hair on while it is doing it.

TrueTrac. His joints are carrying weight from the day he arrives, and the damage does not announce itself. By the time you can see him move short it has been going on a while. This is the one you start before you need it.

Provilli. For the skin. There is a whole population of organisms living on it, and when the balance is right that is part of what keeps him right through a summer. Use it on the skin, or in the water for the gut.

Every one of those has its own page with the whole argument on it. This bundle is the four of them in one order, at a better price.

The order

Deworm first. Then start the daily.

Day one, Clean Sweep. One scoop per 50 lb of body weight, once a day, three days running.

Do it before you spend a dollar on the rest of the program, because there is no sense feeding something that is feeding on him.

Then the daily products, and start them all. Turbo and TrueTrac from the day he comes home. Provilli when you are working his skin, or in the water.

Then Clean Sweep again every six weeks through the feeding period. He walks back out on the same ground the morning after you treat him.

What it costs

Seventy six dollars less than buying them one at a time

What runs out and what does not

Nobody feeds one pig

So the useful question is not how long the box lasts. It is which two things in it go first.

Clean Sweep and Provilli have room in them. The Clean Sweep will deworm three pigs for the whole feeding period. The Provilli goes a long way, and most people end up using it on the other projects in the barn too, not only the pigs.

TrueGlo Turbo and TrueTrac are the two that go. On one pig that is about eighty days of Turbo and about a hundred and fifty of TrueTrac. On two pigs, half that.

So here is what we would actually tell you to do

Buy the bundle once. Do not subscribe to it.

Then put the two that run out on subscription, TrueGlo Turbo and TrueTrac, and let them come on their own. You will likely have enough Clean Sweep and Provilli out of this one box to get you through the year.

Subscribing to the whole bundle would send you four of them in a season. You need about one.

We would rather tell you that than take the order.

Doc will make it right.

If you are not satisfied, let us know. You will not have to ship anything back.

That is the whole policy.

The craft stays yours

None of this feeds him for you. It puts the four things he needs from day one in one box, in an order that makes sense, so you can get on with the part that actually takes skill.

Questions we actually get

Straight answers

What is in it?TrueGlo Turbo (10 lb), TrueTrac Show Pig (48 oz), Clean Sweep (7.5 lb) and Provilli (32 oz).
How much does it save me?Those four come to $424.85 bought separately. The bundle is $348.38, so about $76 and eighteen percent, plus free shipping.
What do I use first?Clean Sweep. Deworm him before you spend money on anything else, then start the daily products.
How long does it last?Depends how many head you are feeding. On one pig the Turbo runs about eighty days and the TrueTrac about a hundred and fifty. The Clean Sweep and the Provilli have more room in them than that.
What do I do when the Turbo runs out? That is about sixty days from most shows, which is when you would switch to Turbo Shag anyway. It is a handoff, not a gap.
Can I use this for more than one pig?Yes, and most people do. The Clean Sweep will handle three pigs for the whole feeding period, and the Provilli goes a long way and gets used on other projects besides the pigs. The Turbo and the TrueTrac are the two that divide by how many head you are feeding.
Should I subscribe to the bundle? We would say no. Buy the bundle once, then subscribe to the two things that actually run out, TrueGlo Turbo and TrueTrac. One box usually carries enough Clean Sweep and Provilli to get you through the year, so a monthly bundle subscription would send you far more than you can use.
Do I still need good feed?Yes. None of this replaces a ration. It is what goes on top of one.
Can I buy the pieces separately?Of course, and every one of them has its own page. The bundle is just cheaper and it saves you working out the order.
What if I am not satisfied?Let us know and Doc will make it right. You will not have to ship anything back. That is the whole policy.
