Description

The problem

You just bought the calf. That was the easy part.

He is standing in your barn and now there is a wall of product in front of you, every bit of it promising something, and no obvious place to start.

Does he need joints already, or is that later? When do you start on hair? What do you do about his skin before there is anything wrong with it?

Most people solve this by buying one thing, waiting to see what goes wrong, and then buying the next thing after it does. That works, in the sense that you eventually get there. It is just the expensive way and the late way.

What is in it

Four bags, and each one is here for a reason

TrueGlo. New pen, new water, new feed, new everything, and that is exactly the stretch where a steer backs off his feed. A steer that is not eating is not growing. This holds the gut together so he stays on feed through it.

TrueTrac Cattle. Steers get bigger every year and the joints carry all of it. The damage does not announce itself, and by the time you can see him move short it has been going on a while. This is the one you start before you need it.

Great Mane. Hide and hair. Omega fatty acids, Tasco seaweed and vitamins, and no melatonin in it.

Provilli. For the skin. There is a whole population of organisms living on it, and when the balance is right that is part of what keeps him right through a season. Use it on the skin, or in the water for the gut.

Every one of those has its own page with the whole argument on it. This bundle is the four of them in one order, at a better price.

What runs out and what does not

On a steer, this is a starting box and we will not pretend otherwise

A steer eats four times the TrueGlo dose that a lamb or a pig does, and it shows.

The TrueGlo is the short one, at about thirty three days. That is not a flaw in the bag, it is what a steer costs to feed. Across a season you are looking at four or five of them.

Great Mane runs about forty days at the ten ounces a steer takes, and TrueTrac runs forty to eighty depending on your rate. So three of the four are gone inside about six weeks.

The Provilli is the one with real room in it, and most people end up using it on the other projects in the barn too, not only the cattle.

So here is what we would actually tell you to do

Buy the bundle once. Do not subscribe to it.

Then put the three that run out on subscription: TrueGlo, TrueTrac and Great Mane. You will likely have enough Provilli out of this one box to get you through the year.

We would rather tell you that than take the order.

Doc will make it right.

If you are not satisfied, let us know. You will not have to ship anything back.

That is the whole policy.

The craft stays yours

None of this feeds him for you. It puts the four things he needs from day one in one box, so you can get on with the part that actually takes skill.

Questions we actually get

Straight answers

What is in it?TrueGlo (5.25 lb), TrueTrac Cattle (10 lb), Great Mane (25 lb) and Provilli (32 oz).
How much does it save me?Those four come to $577.66 bought separately. The bundle is $473.68, so about $103 and eighteen percent, plus free shipping.
How long does it last?On one steer, about thirty three days of TrueGlo, forty of Great Mane, and forty to eighty of TrueTrac. The Provilli lasts a good deal longer.
Why does the TrueGlo only last a month?Because a steer gets the 60 mL scoop, which is four times the small stock dose. Across a season that is four or five bags, and we would rather you knew that before you ordered than after.
Should I subscribe to the bundle? We would say no. Buy the bundle once, then subscribe to the three that actually run out. A monthly bundle subscription would send you far more Provilli than you can use.
Will TrueTrac stop popping pasterns? It supports the cartilage, connective tissue and structure that carry him. It is not a treatment, and a pastern that is already popping needs your veterinarian looking at it.
Do I still need good feed?Yes. None of this replaces a ration. It is what goes on top of one.
Can I buy the pieces separately?Of course, and every one of them has its own page. The bundle is just cheaper and it saves you working out where to start.
What if I am not satisfied?Let us know and Doc will make it right. You will not have to ship anything back. That is the whole policy.
